Tell us a bit about yourself and what got you into larping

I discovered LARPing in freshman year of high school. I saw a Youtube video about what it is and said to myself "man, I have to do this". I've been making costumes and doing theatre since I was young. That plus my love of TTRPGs made LARP a natural fit for me. I attended my first event in fall of 2017. I was a sophomore and brought the average age of the game down a couple decades. I had some of the most fun in my life that weekend. Ever since then, I was hooked.

What are your other interests?

Some of my other interests include cosplay, Scouts BSA/Sea Scouts, tabletop roleplaying, Warhammer, and Magic the Gathering

Tell us a bit about your character(s)!

Captain Rosalie Skyspirit: Rosie is the day captain of the smuggling vessel, The Wyvern. Due to a drunken mistake (and a bit of cheating), Rosie lost the ship to a rival pirate. She and her sister will stop at nothing to get it back. Sassy and impulsive with a blatant disregard for authority, Rosie can be a pain in your ass if she doesn't like you. But if she does, she will never let you down.

Pandora Giovanni: Pandora Giovanni is the Dona of Detroit. She is as charming as she is beautiful, she is quite the picture of etiquette and an excellent hostess. She quite enjoys making deals, she can get almost everything and her network of influences are ever-reaching. The real question is it worth the price?

Rivet: Rivet is a punk Diesel Jock, she enjoys loud music, beating things into a pulp, and riding around MI with her band of misfits.

Morana: Morana is a Cursed Faeweld from the swamp lands. After an encounter with a Grim Reaper took her sister and stole her life force, she is obsessed with the afterlife and encountering a Reaper once again. A member of the Twilight Circus, Morana joined as a way to catalogue experiences with death. Well. The resources and entertainment certainly help as well.

What is your favorite larping memory?

I have many but one in particular comes to mind. I was playing Fia, the event was a feast at a royal's castle. The council was meeting to discuss granting citizenship to all us refugees. I had received a vision early that day. It was of me holding a knife over a dead body of a servant. Later that day, the body of a servant was found with face paint on it. Whoever killed the servant was framing a member of my race, of which there were only two of us there. I went back into my vision using an ability I had. It zoomed out of my body and I saw a man wearing a green tunic and black armor holding the knife instead of me. When I came out of it, one of the council member's servants was wearing exactly that. I tried telling them that but I wasn't trusted. Not until dinner when a council member dropped dead, poisoned, and I knew who did it. That was the first real moment when I felt useful at a LARP, I wasn't just a weird teenager, I actually stood with the more powerful members of town.

When someone meets you at larp, how can they best get to know you/engage with you?

Just come up and talk to me! I love interacting with new people and new characters. Specifically at Convergence, come by my table, I'll be doing all sorts of fortune telling.
