Some rogues are able to avoid notice some of the time, but the greatest rogues are able to observe and respond to events to the point it’s impossible to say they were not invisible. This skill allows a character to cause an affected target to completely ignore them for the rest of an encounter. Using any game item, any other skill; or any reaction except guard will end this skill. Shadow step is not absolute, it does not grant any protection from attacks/effects that are able to affect the character. Shadow step ends with the encounter.
